WELCOME!!!!

Okay, let's get started.
Don't get scared off by my blog's title. This blog is not going to be just about KPOP thus the "more". It's going to be an avenue for me to vent about anything and everything. And I mean anything from religion to politics to entertainment to family................the list goes on. But first, you have to know that you'd be hearing a lot about KPOP, KDRAMAs and Korean entertainment in general from me. It's my current obsession. For those of you who have never heard of kpop, I'll give you a hint but you can just google for more information.
KPOP is a popular genre of music (yes, popular. you've never heard of it doesn't mean it isn't popular) that originates from one of the 9 most developed countries in the world, the Asian tiger, SOUTH KOREA. Kpop's popularity around the world is often referred to as the "Hallyu Wave". It is said that the hallyu wave really started with the boyband "SUPER JUNIOR" in 2009, not that kpop hadn't been exported to other countries before then. Japan especially was already into kpop before 2009, thanks to "the rising gods of the east", TVXQ/DBSK. But kpop really got momentum around the world last year 2012 thanks to the hallyu star himself "PSY". Ever heard of 'Gagnam Style'? All in all, KPOP is just a short form for Korean Pop music.
KDRAMA (which is a shortened form for Korean Drama) on the other hand has been popular for a while now since the days of  "Winter Sonata" in 2002, thanks to the hallyu star himself, "Baek Yong Joon" who made the flower boy trend popular internationally. Korea now pours out flower boys in thousands which is too much for we fangirls to take in all at once. From dramas to kpop, everywhere I go, it is flower boy this or that. You need to google the meaning of the term 'flower boy' yourself, I don't know where to start from. You might have heard of some other Korean hallyu dramas like "Boys Over/Before Flowers, "You Are Beautiful"....................anyone? Well, that is that.
But I gotta warn you though, I'm not a very good blogger especially when it comes to graphic designs but I'm gonna try my best. I hope you don't get bored. Don't worry, practice makes perfect and I promise to improve. Thanks for your patience.
Once again, you are welcome.
